We’re excited to share that improvements are coming to our profile management system. As part of this update, we’ll be launching a new solution with enhanced functionality to streamline access and improve user experience.

When the new system goes live, users will be prompted to reset their passwords. However, this change will not affect accounts that use single sign-on (SSO). Our team is working diligently to finalize all deliverables, and we’ll be sharing more details in the coming weeks. DOT & FAA Announce Termination of FAA Emergency Order, Return to Normal Operations

U.S. Transportation Secretary Sean P. Duffy and Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Administrator Bryan Bedford today announced that the agency’s flight reduction emergency order was terminated on Monday, November 17 at 6 a.m. This means normal operations can resume across the National Airspace System (NAS). The FAA safety team recommended the termination of the order following their detailed reviews of safety trends and the steady decline of staffing-trigger events in air traffic control facilities. “I want to thank the FAA’s dedicated safety team for keeping our skies secure during the longest government shutdown in our nation’s history and the country’s patience for putting safety first. Thanks to President Trump’s leadership, controllers have returned to their posts and normal operations can resume,” said Transportation Secretary Sean P. Apple launches Digital ID using your passport

You can now digitize your passport thanks to Apple's latest feature, Digital ID, launching on Wednesday.

Digital ID allows you to securely store your passport information in your iPhone's wallet. You can then use your Digital ID at more than 250 airports nationwide as a form of identification to pass through Transportation Security Administration checkpoints.

This represents a major expansion of Apple's digital identification efforts. Prior to this, 12 states and Puerto Rico had already supported the ability to add a driver's license and other identity cards to an Apple Wallet...read more 

A record 81.8 million Americans set to travel over Thanksgiving, AAA says

A record 81.8 million Americans are set to travel during the Thanksgiving holiday, with about 90% planning to drive to their destinations, according to a new forecast from AAA. 

Compared with the Thanksgiving holiday a year earlier, an additional 1.6 million people are predicted to travel more than 50 miles from their homes between Nov. 25 and Dec. 1, the automobile group said. That would represent a new record for Turkey Day travel, which has rebounded since dipping to 56.8 million travelers in 2020, when the pandemic caused people to cancel their plans. 

Despite the disruption to air travel during the longest-running government shutdown in U.S. history, which ended Nov. 12, AAA projects that about 6.1 million Americans will fly during Thanksgiving week, up 2% from a year earlier. Flight cancellations have dropped since the end of the shutdown, which had prompted the Federal Aviation Administration to throttle air traffic at dozens of busy airports due to a shortage of air traffic controllers...read more​​​​
