On-Site Sports Travel Consultant – GA Tech University in Atlanta, GA

This position is located on-site at GA Tech University in Atlanta, GA. This is NOT a remote position.

 

As first contact for GA Tech Athletics, this position is responsible for domestic and basic international travel requests for individual and group travel, and provides emergency and afterhours service for team travel. Travel requests are received and responded to via all means of business contact (phone, e-mail or portal) for air, hotel and car reservations in an efficient, courteous and timely manner. This position manages all functions relating to the booking, administrative and accounting tasks necessary to process electronic or other travel documents as it relates to customer requests and industry requirements, including support of online bookings.

 

A minimum of 5 years of travel agent experience is required; group and/or sports travel experience is essential. This position is located on-site at GA Tech University in Atlanta, GA.

Team Travel Advisor

As first contact for our Sports Travel clients, this position is responsible for domestic and basic international customer travel requests for group travel and provides emergency and afterhours service for team travel. Travel requests are received and responded to via all means of business contact (phone, e-mail or portal) for air, hotel and car reservations in an efficient, courteous and timely manner. This position manages all functions relating to the booking, administrative and accounting tasks necessary to process electronic or other travel documents as it relates to customer requests and industry requirements, including support of on-line bookings. This position can be located in the Waterloo, IA office or can work remotely from home.

  • Minimum of 3 years of travel industry experience required

  • Smartpoint/Apollo experience is preferred

  • Flexibility to work nights and weekends on a rotational basis

Team Travel Advisor – Evenings/Weekends

As first contact for our Sports Travel clients, this position is responsible for domestic and basic international customer travel requests for group travel and provides emergency and afterhours service for team travel.Work schedule can be flexible but will be covering evenings and/or weekend shifts. Position can be full or part-time.

This position can be located in the Waterloo, IA office or can work remotely from home.

  • Minimum of 3 years of travel industry experience required

Account Director, NCAA Meetings & Events

Responsible for providing leadership, strategic and innovative thinking to the Short’s meetings and convention planning team as well as NCAA liaisons and service partners. This person will possess exceptional communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work with, analyze and manipulate data and systems.  In this role, the leader must be able to strictly manage projects while adhering to deadlines for superior outcomes. This position is located onsite in Indianapolis, IN

Housing Manager, NCAA Meetings & Events

Responsible for managing all aspects of housing for NCAA large meetings and events, including registration. The Housing Manager will ensure all conditions and contractual aspects are met while minimizing risk and avoiding attrition penalties.  This role works directly with NCAA and may also plan meetings and events as needed. 

 

This position is on-site, located in Indianapolis, IN

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience AND

  • 5 years previous experience in project, event or meeting management, room block coordination and/or hotel front desk operations.

  • Strong experience in hotel negotiations required.

  • CMP designation a plus.

  • Prior successful experience in developing and maintaining supplier and key client relationships.

  • Proven aptitude for technology and/or software solutions and analytical skills required.

  • Experience with meeting planning or management of convention services required.

  • Flexibility to travel and/or work a flexible schedule (i.e. non-traditional hours) as needed.

Coordinator - STM Stay

As Coordinator for STM-Stay, responsible for assisting Account Managers in coordinating account operations that support ongoing business sales and hotel relationships. This position may work remotely.

  • Experience with hospitality, hotel customer service and hotel management

  • Associates degree, Bachelor’s degree preferred.

  • Strong organizational skills & attention to detail.

  • Excellent written and oral communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Self-starter with ability to focus on goals without constant direct leadership or oversight

  • 3 years administrative experience; previous experience in the travel or hospitality industry is a plus.

  • Proficient with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint & Outlook).

  • Experience with Salesforce or Cvent a plus.

  • Remote work sites must have dependable high-speed internet.

Operations Coordinator (temporary) – STM Charters

The STM Charters division has an immediate opening for a temporary Operations Coordinator. This temporary position is required for 9 months from July 15th to April 15th. It is not eligible for benefits.

 

As Operations Coordinator for Charters, responsible for coordinating operations and customer service functions that support ongoing business sales and client renewals. This position may work remotely.

  • Bachelor’s degree and/or equivalent Charter/General Aviation experience preferred.

  •  Maintain the highest levels of honesty and integrity, without exception.

  • Strong organizational skills & attention to detail.

  • Excellent written and oral communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Accessibility outside of normal work hours and on weekends while flights are operating as needed.
