OPEN POSITIONS

Meetings Coordinator - NCAA Conference Center

This full-time, hourly position is on-site, located in Indianapolis, IN.

What you can expect in this role:

This role is part of Short's Travel's NCAA Meetings and Convention team and is responsible for assisting with designated aspects of NCAA meetings and events, including planning, executing and reconciliation. This position will work primarily within the NCAA Conference Center, alongside the meeting and event planning team and vendors. It will also be responsible for working with clients to organize and coordinate logistics for internal meetings and events.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience preferred.

  • Ability to work a flexible schedule (i.e. non-traditional hours), and travel if needed.

  • Experience in event coordination, meeting planning, hospitality, or related field

  • Strong organizational and multitasking ability

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Customer service experience in a professional environment

Business Analyst, Technical

What you can expect in this role:

The Business Analyst will elicit, analyze, specify, and validate the business needs of stakeholders, including customers and internal teams. This involves interviewing stakeholders to understand their processes and technical needs, documenting requirements, and refining solutions. Using strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills, the Business Analyst will support technology and process-oriented decision-making. Collaborating closely with Project Managers, this role is critical in developing new products by setting goals, timelines, and responsibilities to meet organizational objectives. This position ensures IT’s alignment with business requirements to drive overall success.

  • Collaborate directly with the CEO, Executive Team, key stakeholders, and employees throughout the organization.

  • Play an integral role in driving innovation in college sports travel during a period of exciting transformation.

  • Join the leader in collegiate sports travel, handling all major college sports tournaments and regular season travel for over 100 Division 1 colleges across the United States.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in IT, MIS, Business, or related field.

  • Experience: Minimum of 4 years of direct experience managing complex projects through full lifecycle using tools like JIRA or similar software tools.

  • Certifications: CCBA preferred; CBAP and/or PMI-PBA acceptable.

  • Technology Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams) and Salesforce (preferred).

Software Development Manager

What you can expect in this role:

This role will manage delivery of scalable, reliable, and secure software solutions that meet business requirements by collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders while maintaining timelines and budgets.  It will build and nurture a high-performance team capable of adapting to evolving technologies and priorities. 

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in software development

  • 1+ years of experience in product management or as a product owner

  • Demonstrated track record of successfully delivered products or features.

Technical Skills:

  • Expert level programing skills in relevant languages (Coldfusion) with strong understanding of software architecture, design patterns and agile methods. 

System Administrator, IT

What you can expect in this role:

The System Administrator is ensuring our IT infrastructure and business systems are running optimally and are well-maintained. They perform backup and restore procedures, security monitoring and configuration, server and software configuration, maintenance, and troubleshooting, user account management, and user technical support as needed in support of this mission. Other duties include recommending hardware and software implementations, developing and leading technology implementations and/or user technology training projects, and identifying process improvement opportunities.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in computer science or related degree preferred.

  • 3 years experience in a similar role.

  • Excellent planning and organization skills

  • Excellent problem-solving skills

  • Strong understanding of operating systems and programming languages.

  • Clear, empathetic verbal and written communicator

  • Ability to maintain highest level of confidentiality.

  

Technical Skills: 

  • Experience with SQL database administration.

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook). 

  • Proven aptitude for technology and/or software solutions and analytical skills required.
