Waterloo, Iowa – Short’s Travel Management (STM) today announced that it has named Shauna Basile as Chief Financial Officer. Ms. Basile previously held the position as Controller for STM and began her new role as CFO in mid-October. As CFO, Ms. Basile will oversee the planning and management of all finance activities of STM including business planning, budgeting and forecasting. She will report to STM’s Chief Executive Officer and part owner, David LeCompte.

Shauna has more than 25 years of financial experience in the manufacturing, merger and acquisitions, educational and human resource sectors. Prior to joining STM, she consulted in change-management.
Basile states, “I look forward to strategically guiding the continued operational and growth strategies of STM. The extensive leadership knowledge and commitment to teamwork throughout the organization provide a unique concentration on customer service and efficiencies.”
Shauna is a licensed Certified Public Accountant; she holds a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Montana and a Master of Business Administration from Colorado State University.
