Short’s Travel Management is proud to announce a new partnership with Wake Forest Athletics to oversee and manage travel for all its programs. This collaboration will leverage Short’s Designated Agent Model to provide high-touch, expert service across every mode of athletic travel.

Through this partnership, Short’s will manage all aspects of team and recruiting travel logistics—including group and individual commercial air travel, charter plane services, hotel accommodations, rental car arrangements for both team and recruiting purposes, and charter bus services (including fly/drives). This comprehensive approach is designed to streamline travel coordination and ensure the highest level of service and flexibility for Wake Forest coaches, staff, and student-athletes.

“We’re proud to partner with Wake Forest and support their programs with our offsite Designated Agent Model,” said David LeCompte, CEO of Short’s Travel Management. “This model gives Wake Forest access to dedicated, expert travel support without needing someone physically onsite—allowing for both flexibility and consistency in service."

“At Wake Forest, we strive to provide a World Class Student-Athlete Experience for our student-athletes in every facet of their journey—including how they travel,” said John Currie, Vice President and Director of Athletics. “Short’s Travel Management brings unmatched expertise and service in athletic travel, and we’re excited to partner with a team that understands the unique needs and demands of collegiate sports. This partnership will enhance the efficiency of our operations and allow our coaches and student-athletes to stay focused on competing at the highest level.”
