Short's Travel Management has incorporated in its online booking tool flight delay and missed connection risk indexes from Lumo, making Short's Travel Online the first OBT to offer Lumo's AI-powered flight disruption prediction service, according to the companies.
With the update, all flight search results in STO include a disruption risk rating from Lumo, which uses such factors as weather, air traffic control, network propagation, current delays and historical data to deliver probabilities for flight delays ranging from months to hours ahead of time.
The companies first partnered last year, when STM began reselling Lumo's flight disruption predictor and employee wellness and productivity analytics products.
