OPEN POSITIONS

NCAA Travel Coordinator

As first contact for our NCAA Travelers, this position is responsible for domestic and basic international customer travel requests from assigned accounts for both group and individual travel. Travel requests are received and responded to via all means of business contact (phone, e-mail or portal) for air, hotel and car reservations in an efficient, courteous and timely manner. This position manages all functions relating to the booking, administrative and accounting tasks necessary to process electronic or other travel documents as it relates to customer requests and industry requirements, including support of on-line bookings. This position is located in our Waterloo, IA office.  Remote work may be considered for experienced agents only.

 

  • Associate’s degree and/or a minimum of 2 years experience in a similar customer service position.

  • Travel Agency experience preferred, but not required.

  • Flexibility to work overtime as well as evening and weekends shifts during peak business periods is required.

On-Site Sports Travel Consultant for Brown University in Providence, RI 

This position is located on-site at Brown University in Providence, RI.  This is NOT a remote position.

 

As first contact for Brown University Athletics, this position is responsible for domestic and basic international travel requests for individual and group travel, and provides emergency and afterhours service for team travel. Travel requests are received and responded to via all means of business contact (phone, e-mail or portal) for air, hotel and car reservations in an efficient, courteous and timely manner. This position manages all functions relating to the booking, administrative and accounting tasks necessary to process electronic or other travel documents as it relates to customer requests and industry requirements, including support of online bookings. A minimum of 5 years of travel agent experience is required; group and/or sports travel experience is essential. This position is located on-site at Brown University in Providence, RI.

Accountant

Short’s Travel Management is seeking an ambitious, goal-oriented Accountant to join our Finance Team.   This role will join a team who are responsible for creating and sending invoices in our high-volume bus charter business.  They will assist in maintaining client and vendor information in Salesforce.   They will work closely with other remote team members to ensure timely and accurate processing of invoices, client payment and vendor information. 

  

A qualified candidate will possess an Associate’s degree or higher in Accounting plus a minimum of 3 years of experience in accounting/bookkeeping OR an equivalent combination of education and experience.  This position may be based in our Waterloo, IA office or be virtual from home.

Accounting/Billing Clerk

Short’s Travel Management is seeking an ambitious, goal-oriented Accounting/Billing Clerk to join our Finance Team This role will be responsible for creating and sending invoices in our high-volume hotel business, maintaining client records in Salesforce, and assisting with other accounting processes. They will work closely with other remote team members to ensure timely and accurate processing of invoices and collections of hotel commissions. 

  

A qualified candidate will possess an Associate’s degree or higher in Accounting plus a minimum of 1 year of experience in accounting/bookkeeping OR an equivalent combination of education and experience. This position may be based in our Waterloo, IA office or be remote from home.
