Mobile solutions

Did you know: mobile booking is projected to increase by an average of nearly 65% over the next three years?1 Your travelers can enjoy the convenience of booking their travel, and/or managing their itineraries through Short's using an array of mobile solutions.

Short’s offers Concur Mobile, which complements the web-based solution and allows you to manage anything travel related, wherever you are. Travelers can retrieve itineraries, check status updates, add new car, hotel, taxi and dining reservations to existing reservations and check-in for flights through their mobile device. In addition, travelers can change or cancel air reservations and support approvals with the mobile application. Also, depending on the type of device, there are third-party apps available. Using these apps, the user may also be able to book a taxi, dining, and public transportation.

Short’s Travel Online (STO), Short's proprietary online booking tool, now offers STO Mobile, a simple, yet powerful mobile solution to book and manage your travel. Travelers can book air, car and hotel on their mobile devices in addition to accessing their itineraries and trip details.  With one touch, travelers are also able to get in touch with agents to assist with any travel-related questions.

Short’s offers travelers mobile itinerary management solutions through our integration with TripCase and TripIt, allowing travelers to instantly send all itineraries to one of these mobile applications. These apps receive your travel itinerary from Short's and automatically synchronize the travel data with your mobile device. The itinerary includes all of your travel bookings - flights, hotels, car rentals etc. - plus all of your meetings. Everything is synchronized with the online travel planner and with your traveler's calendar, making it easy to share with your colleagues or assistant. All items are presented in the destination time-zone, and are linked for additional information like confirmation numbers, phone numbers, terminals, gates etc. Best of all – it’s up-to-date, and any changes made are reflected on your mobile device so you always have the correct itinerary.

Should your travelers prefer not to download an app, Short's also offers the option to view their responsive itinerary on their tablet or mobile phone via Travelport's ViewTrip, which is embedded into Short's Virtual Itineraries. This resource will provide travelers with an interactive, consolidated itinerary, including their air, car, and hotel.
